TCS to start new BTech course at Coimbatore college

Services TCS ) is all set to introduce a new engineering course, BTech in
Computer Science and Business Systems, at the Sri Krishna College of
Engineering and Technology from the coming academic year.Ranjan Bandyopadhyay ,
global vice-president, human resources, TCS, said the firm has applied for
approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the
course and would introduce it as a pilot programme in four colleges across the
country.The course, he said, would be listed as a standard BTech course on the
AICTE portal from the next academic year and the firm would help any
institution willing to introduce the course in their college.“The course will
have subjects on the latest technologies such as big data, design thinking and
machine learning.
